For City Navas, Aguero, Zabaleta, Jovetic, Negredo and Silva started training about a week ago as well.

There's bound to be two teams with the format of the competition so it's very hard if not impossible to predict who plays on Day 1 and who plays on Day 2

I'll just name what I think is our strongest squad at the moment given the injury to Nastasic

---------------Hart
Richards--Kompany--Garcia--Clichy
------------Fernandinho
---------Yaya-----Silva
---Navas-----Negredo----Dzeko

Wot no Jovetic?!!

Taking our current injury list into account, I'd start with this 11

---------------Hart
Milner--Kompany--Richards--Clichy
------------Fernandinho
---------Yaya-----Silva---Jovetic
--Navas
----------------Negredo-------------

Re: City v Milan - Audi Cup

To be honest the Milan team doesn't really worry me. A few outstanding individuals and promising young players, but overall they look about the level of Spurs/Arsenal who we should finish above fairly comfortably in the league.

Luckily the game isn't played on paper.

A worse Milan last season beat the likes of Chelsea (preseason), Juventus, Barcelona...

Plenty to be said for tactics... This game will be tight as hell

Well of course, and it's pre-season which is even less predictable. Always a chance of losing against good teams, but the current Milan side is not intimidating in any way.

It's definitely not the best Milan team that's been fielded... but still a cohesive unit with two HUGE upgrades over last season in the midfield, in NDJ and Poli.

Montolivo is world class, and flies under the radar ridiculously hard.

It's obviously not where I want Milan to be (and it will be a very different team come end of market), but I kind of like the underdog role.... But like I said, it's not where I want Milan to be

Do we get to see both games each night or just City games? Only now have I thought about this!
All games live on pay TV but the changeover complicates things.

According to my TV Guide

Both semis shown back-to-back on ESPN1

3rd place live on BT Sport 2

Final live on BT Sport 1

Unless you know different, of course ;)

If any consolation there's a highlights rerun on ESPN on Thursday and I think your BT subscription will allow access to that. Or there'll prob be a download on the matchday forum sooner than that.

Thanks DB

Do you think Ljajic and Honda will improve you much then? They take the place of Boateng and Muntari/Nocerino?
