For me he was a bad signing for Real, as he is quick and strong, but not a particularly good footballer. Do believe they want to sell, but at a profit, and i doubt he wants to leave.

Retired a few weeks ago from playing, think it was a player/coaching role.To this day, I've only ever bought one City shirt and it was the black and yellow one (think Adebayor!) and I got Barry on the back.
He was a top player and right up Peps street.
I think he's coaching at the minute.

He is the one. Its hard not to see what he bringsGood player but the one from there would be Valverde.
I dont see it. And I dont think Real will let him go in the winter. And Im not sure hes that compatible with Rodri, similar Zubimendi too he cant really move a half step up and play beside Rodri in the slithy more advanced role like Ederson, Baleba, Douglas Luiz etc could do I think.

Thats the thing, i don't think any of the guys you mentioned can play the 8 that well. Which is why im not so high on them. They are all 'Real' #6 types. Personally, i want a hybrid. In other words, a world class Kovacic is what o want. A young and more energetic Gundogan.I dont see it. And I dont think Real will let him go in the winter. Could we manage with a super 6 and play 2 6s when Rodri returns? Sure. We'd probably be stronger defensively and harder to beat against top teams, so i get it.
But a hybrid: Declan Rice, Guimaraes, type is the best idea in my opinion. There's some indices that Ederson is that type of player, I'm just not as impressed with his vision and passing. Perhaps he'll make it up with industry and energy.
Time will tell.

Wouldnt want him and not what we need.However the point i was making was we should be buying proper players like back in the day.Sergio,Merlin,Yaya etc.Do you think we could get Bellingham too for say £170m? I don't. Same as him really
Didn’t say it was realistic, just responding to someone who said they’d prefer Valverde to Touchameni. I was simply saying if you were taking a midfielder from Madrid I’d want Camavinga. IMHO he’s levels above the other two.Really come on ffs. More chance getting rooney out of retirement
I think Valverde is underrated. He to me is better than Carmavinga. Sure, i ahree Camarvinga is uber talented.
