Australia vs Germany

This bloke has completely fucked us up beyond belief.

Today, he drops Kennedy who's played pretty much every game in qualifying. He then moves our best midfielder up front, where he is largely ineffective and removes his best weapon. He'll find it hard to do his late runs into the box when he's leading the line. He moves a DM who has scored once in 50-odd games out wide left. Then to top it all off, he puts Richard fucking Garcia - who can't even get a game for Hull - up front. TWO MIDFIELDERS leading the line, when we could have played Kennedy and MacDonald together. Changed the formation we have played with for the last 3 or so years WITHOUT change 5 minutes before kickoff.

The dumb prick must have woken up and thought, "I might play a 4-4-fucking-2 today!". But fuck playing my two best forwards, I'll drop one and I left the other at home!

He plays a high line with Craig fuckhead Moore at the back. The same Craig fuckhead Moore who was a huge defensive liability all year in the Australian league last year. Who was released with 8 weeks to go, took up a contract with some bobbins Greek team, who gave him the boot with 2 games left to play. He's then spent the past 2 months training with a pub team for 'fitness'. Forget that he could have taken the form aussie CB in Simon Colosimo, who only made one mistake all year. Won the double with his team. Finally looked the player he could have been 10 years ago if it wasn't for Andy fucking Cole. Or Michael Beauchamp, Mark Milligan, Matthew Spiranovic, Eddie Bosnar...lots of players playing at a higher level and playing better while there.

I wouldn't piss on that **** if he was on fire.

My bottom of the group prediction was spot on it would seem.

Glad to see Cahill and that 'keeper City rejected having stormers!

Just got back from Walkabout watching it there. Germany were as ever, ruthless, slick and relentless. We have yet to see Brazil unleash their talent on people, but surely the Germans are in the running to win now.

Great bit was, even though they'd just seen their team get buggered by Germany, the Aussies were in party mode after the game. It was like a Saturday night after the game, doing their usual stuff after what was a humiliating defeat. If only we, England, could act in a similar way after defeats like that.

I was thinking yesterday, if they win it do they keep it? As the other two post 1970 wins were West Germany.

Also if Brazil (94 02) Argentina (78 86) or Italy (82 06) they do keep it, so it is the big two in the big two continents, what will the new design be if they do win it?

Mate, any aussie watching at the walkabout (or even goes there in general) would be the most clueless tits in the world.

They must have been gutted that Harry Cahill got sent off!

I know one where it is £1.80 for Stella and has 3 sky boxes, not in Manchester though, but good for getting pissed up watching all sports.

Germany have a good few foreign German players, Eamon Dunphy has uncovered a major problem we have in Ireland..we don't have any colonies. Haha, that's why we're fucked and falling behind.

You gotta be joking, Australia, Boston, New York, Liverpool, London, Luton, all parts of The Republic or Ireland but not part of the 26, not to mention the parts of Northern Ireland that the south poach players from, oh and large parts of Glasgow as well, you are nearly as bad as the Italians.....
(I Jest)

And of how many Aussie/American players are playing for us, or English for that matter.
We're seconds for a few players with this new rule, the likes of Rooney og, a few might pick us if they've little to no chance of them playing for the likes of England. But we've mainly Irish players with us now. And it was a joke, what he said. Just a joke. We've one or two players who people claim as Scottish, but look at our squad, Irish nearly all of them. Ireland is not the first choice team for players who want to pick and choose their team.

Ireland almost had Tim Cahill, except FIFA dug their heels in after he played for American Samoa as a 15 year old.

Geoff and Jim Whitley must have been Irish? Just like Terry Butcher, John Barnes, Matt le Tissier, Graeme le Saux and Hargreaves are English.

Cracking game..The Germans played very well, the first half was just Oz having players in the right positions, the germans are to clever to fall for that.
You noticed that they seldom gave the ball away.,unlike some team we all know.
They just played the ball and let the opposition run around until they had an open space then they make two quick passes and try to score.
Their youngster..incredibly mature, must have played regular games for a couple of years at least despite their tender age.

Oz where bad but I think tonight just a few teams in the world wouldn´t have struggled to make an impact on Germany.

As for Verbeek..totally clueless I fear, you simply can´t outsmart the germans with a static defence. Oz must get back to a more flowing football where their fighting spirit can lift the team.
