Australia vs Germany

Germany have a good few foreign German players, Eamon Dunphy has uncovered a major problem we have in Ireland..we don't have any colonies. Haha, that's why we're fucked and falling behind.

Got too say these Germans look quality of todays showing, there playing the old France '98 trick where half of the squad wasn't actully born in Germany. Two of them were born in Poland and Cacau in Brazil.

Just glad no English national side would do that, especially not the cricket team that won the T20 world cup.

Isn't both Podolski and Klose ethnic Germans just born in Poland and grew up in Germany?

Podolski came to germany in 1987 at the age of two. Along with his parents, that claimed to have germans ancestors. Klose came at the age of eight, his father had german parents. Özil was born in Gelsenkirchen, his grandfather immigrated to germany. The real foreigner is "Helmut", as he is called, Cacau.

I am positively surprised by this performance, did not expect us to trash Australia 4:0 and the scoreline could have and should have been higher.

Best game of the World Cup so far by quite some distance... the ref was way too strict though that was never a Red against Cahill.

Podolski - definitely - and Klose - I think - don't sing the German anthem. Any particular reason ?
