I was wondering what they are building there when i drive through the tunnel.It looks like its going to be a great stadium.Might have to drag my lazy arse down for a game or two.

No.Living out in the sticks and not following A Leaque,i assumed it was another shopping centre (just what Melbourne needs).
Will defo catch a game when it opens,might even convert me to take an interest in A Leaque.The ethnic tribalism of the past put me right off the game here,but times change.

No.Living out in the sticks and not following A Leaque,i assumed it was another shopping centre (just what Melbourne needs).

The ethnic thing doesnt happen anymore (unless you watch state league). When the new club is up and running, should be a lot of fun.

PERTH GLORY......the rest of my family moved over to Perth a few years ago and keep sending my little lad the home shirts.

Also Perth were partners with City in the "Franky Sinatra" days if you remember.

Wow no need for that mate. Just having a joke.

Besides, I don't mind Adelaide since they got rid of that lot, and I certainly respect what they've done for the game in the last year or so, what with their progress in Asia. And above all, on the pitch the Melbourne/Adelaide rivalry is probably the biggest and most developed in the league, since there have been so many big games between the two since the league started. A good rivalry that's only gonna help strengthen the league and establish a sense of tradition.
