It happened to united most of there hardcore manchester fan base have been priced out and don't go now. I don't want that to happen to us. Why should we just welcome a load of fans that if we ever went shit again would just disappear back to supporti united or liverpool. Btw millions of fans worldwide ??? Where were all these fans before our takeover. Alot of them only jump on our success and will be gone if we dont win things.

I don't do anything else with my money either Bill but i am really feeling the price increases, i only earn £8 an hour,which is the only money coming into the house and have season cards for me and my boy to pay for, don't mind the new influx of fans but just worry about the knock on effects on pricing, and i really do not feel that anyone at the club cares one jot about the hardcore or loyal fans, we are a cow to be milked.

I Dont know how you manage that mate, all credit to you for getting to the games. I think our club are being strangled by platini and his ffp agenda against us ( not a peep when Chelsea got rich). Of course our owners are business men abs they want to make money and at the same time promote Abu Dhabi but I think they would keep prices more reasonable than they are allows to do so. They can't though affect away games and its these that will squeeze out the proper fans who've been through the shit.

the trouble is when a club is successful, you will get new fans, but these fans buy tickets at any price, go into the shop and buy lots of stuff, we need to have a balance though, and with the new deal with sky and bt we could have ticket prices dropped by say a tenner for each game. and season tickets could be dropped by 50-70 notes. but the players want the same money as they are getting now, so we do need a cap of something to bring the prices down for the fans, but I doubt if players will drop there money.

How could anyone accuse you of being a plastic or a day tripper if you went home and away when we were shit?

I'm tired of these deliberate attempts at misrepresenting the position of people who aren't delighted by the prospect sitting next to a bandwagon blue at the Etihad, or having said glory hunter take your seat once you've been priced out of attending regularly.

If anyone disagrees with my opinion, they could always quote me and address my points directly. I'd be happy to debate this topic, fairly and honestly.

Wish i could take him to every game, just hope i'm lucky enough to be one of those that get in the new tiers, £300 is a cracking price.
