Im a regular "awayer" but didn't bother with yesterday. Infact I cant be bothered with most London aways bar Fulham. Shit, expensive and full of mongs.

At least it gives people the chance to catch me up points wise

wtf?
Why WTF ? Hes right it was terrible in the ground on saturday yet the pub was fine with usual faces

Don't see the problem not everyone wants to stand in the concourse getting piss wet through with beer getting thrown on them. Or stand in the toilets going home stinking of smoke. Was a good buzz outside of the ground at the bottle bar.

Couple of dickheads turned up next to my son after kick off, sharing one seating area, completely squeezing my son’s space.

When I complained to them they started swearing, spitting and were generally very threatening towards me.

Fortunately, before half-time one of the twats went to get the beers in (7 minutes still remaining, I might add). Other surrounding City fans nearby then complained to the remaining idiot and after a while he was led away.

Besides completely spoiling the match for my son and I, they had the audacity to question my support of City because of my southern accent. Now, I’ve been supporting City since my first match in 1971, have had a season ticket for the past 20 years and travel 580 miles to each home match, also doing over half the away games every season. How dare these idiots question my support. I’m still so pissed off by the whole episode.

The end result of all this is that my son, who has built up 9,000 points and still only 14, doesn’t want to go to any more away games. It was a horrible experience for him and I question myself whether I want to attend matches where I can come across such repulsive people.

£62 to be insulted, threatened and spat at by other City fans. Thanks

That is absolutely atrocious and despicable behavior.. i cant believe we have idiots like this supporting our club but i suppose every clubs fan base has their fare share of wankers. Just hope your son gets over this horrid experience. I cant even imagine what they would have done to me with my middle eastern accent! Luckily ive never had to experience something like this at the etihad.

People need to accept that we have fans all across the world, both old and new

Unfortunately as with all aspects of life now, some idiots always ruin many occasions that should just be about enjoying the day.

Hope you and your son have better experiences supporting City with the majority of decent supporters who simply want to go, enjoy the games and cheer City on.

took my son to and had a couple of dick heads drunk who came in late and stood next to us and pushed other people to get a space where they shouldnt have been, they went to get beers at half time and lickily only 1 came back so we had more room, i can understand why people are put off especially when they have young kids, these dick heads dont care less about other people, they come in drunk and late and seem to have the right to stand anywhere, not the type of fans we need!
