Away fans in home end again

They talk of no new expansion but the leap from Maine Road’s capacity to The COMS to the new third tier is huge. 20,000+? I don’t have the figures in front of me. That’s some new committed fan base. Since becoming a Blue I’ve gone through unemployment, university, moving away etc. Life changes.

"City Matters should do something". Tell me what we should do that would guarantee an acceptable outcome. All we can do is make our voices heard but if anyone has constructive suggestions then I'd genuinely welcome them. Had some great feedback on seasoncard renewal packs and hopefully some of it will be implemented.

Resign and tell the club to stick it as you are getting nowhere. And stop the charade that the Clubs thinks of ordinary fans.
You are contributing to just being a yes man for the Club.
Do you not realise that they don't give a fuck about the ordianry Joe.

I believe City are trying to reduce the amount of season ticket holders so as to make more from the day tripper/ tourist fan , someone like me , few pints in town , goes to the match , doesn’t buy the beer or food at the ground, leaves , goes back to town for few more , I don’t spend enough i’m The type of fan Soriano is charged with replacing ....tbh he’s doing a great job of it .

Great idea. Not.

Talk some fucking sense instead of spouting shite. They're certainly not going to give a fuck if no one is sat there in front of them are they. At least they do listen to us sometimes.

If they're doing that then they're not making a great job of it. Churn is low and any that are available are snapped up. I think the available ones went within about 3 hours of going on sale this season. As much as people moan about prices, they aren't hurting demand yet.

After this season I think it’ll be a lot different , var & City selling tickets to away fans in the home ends will see a sea change in attitude towards the club .

Exactly. In Germany, Bayern have phenomenal commercial income but much of that comes from their main corporate shareholders Allianz, Audi and Adidas, who own 25% of the club between them. Their revenue is nearly double that of Dortmund, who are the next biggest German team in terms of revenue. They should be walking the Bundesliga every season. So they can afford the top players. Their matchday income is about the same as Liverpool's. Dortmund's matchday income is about the same as ours so their prices can't be that much different across the board.
Dortmund’s matchday revenue may be similar to us but they get 80k attendances suggesting that their average price must be a lot lower than ours. Biggest issue is how away fans get tickets in the home end. Who is supplying them and why aren’t people being ejected. Why is it getting worse and what are the club doing about it

The club are selling to agencies who sell to anyone

why don't the club say, only people who have bought 10 tickets/ can get a ticket for a game. carnt see utd or pool coming to watch us for 10 games so they might get a chance to get a home ticket,
selling tickets to agencies is down to the club and when it does kick off its down to them
