Away fans in home end again

Maybe so Shirley but we always seems to sell out the South Stand L3 tickets returned by Away fans.

Agree but those tickets are sensibly priced at £30, the tickets touted by agents are grossly overpriced and seem to be the ones being bought by away fans if I'm understanding this correctly.

9 posts, I don't know what your other posts are about but if they are of this standard you can fuck right off. Moaners ? How about selling our soul, fucking loyal fans off, the ones that stood by the club when they were really in the shit ? We are not talking about individual away fans, we are talking about 2 rows of away fans. That attracts trouble which in turn causes fans to not attend future matches and generally has a negative effect on the fan base.
I attended my first match when my dad took me to Maine Road when he retuned home from being away fighting for 6 years abroad in north africa and italy when I was aged 7. From 1957 I attended evey home and away game until I got married in 1969 when the away games got knocked on the head. In them days we mixed with away supporters, looked after ourselves and did not winge for stewards help. So just 9 posts oh dear you can't come on our board.

Both united and liverpool can shift tickets this way as they have a huge fan base, City are no where near those numbers.

United didn’t sell out for their last PL match during the Christmas period. There were 100’s of empty seats visible on the TV. United’s out of town fans, day trippers and tourists either weren’t prepared to pay the sky high plane and train fares, or prepared pay the expensive hotel room prices, if they could get a hotel room?

So much for their support in Gtr Manchester. They didn’t take up the unsold tickets.

I hope all the moaners on here realise that if the present owners did not buy the club when they did, we would be like Bolton or even Bury right now.

Some other billionaire would have bought the club. Even though the club was bankrupt, it was and will always be a buyable asset. The club itself, a stadium, and 50,000+ fans for every home match.

West Ham fans probably hope you’re right!

Good for you my first game with my dad 1949, First season ticket 1964 the season of two

I still enjoy going to the game despite the worsening atmosphere and the apparent disconnect between the administration of the Club and our fans on ticket pricing, allocations, security etc.

Does this guy Danny Wilson still work for City or is he a bit of a myth. I know there are super fans who say he is a top guy but he’s not accessible to the majority of match going fans. I know there are only so many working hours in the day but surely he could have clarified the swamp ticket allocation problem.
