Apologies if mentioned elsewhere, but felt it deserved it's own topic.

Don't get me wrong, I feel that in an ideal world, all fans sat together is great. But the world isn't ideal, and it doesn't happen, for a reason.

But at the Dortmund, Ajax and last night's games we were amazed at the amount of opposition supporters in our section (132)

Not just one or two, but groups of them. On the whole they all behaved, and nothing went off, but how the hell are the club selling them these seats? Why are they? (Understand if sesoncard holder don't take them up, they are there to be sold off, but to away fans?) The potential for trouble is great, so why do it?

If it was one or two slipping under the radar, fair enough but as said, it was groups not one or two.

At half time, there was two lads with Madrid scarves wandering about the concourse (not half and half ones) FFS.....only takes one numpty (and like all clubs, we have our share) and it's kicking off.

The stewards we know told us the club were fully aware, and just instructed them to 'keep an eye on them'. Lmao. Surely as with the Ajax game, when there was a lot of space on their top tier still, these fans should have been relocated there 'for their own safety'? Not effin' rocket science....

I would think that that section was part of what UEFA snaffled and that they were probably complimentary tickets but I could be wrong. If they were your normal paying fan, theyd be in the away section. Mind you some of the worst offenders are sometimes in these comp sections so it's no guarantee that the fans there will be well behaved. I think it's something that needs addressing.

My Spanish friend was the travel coordinator for Madrid and she was with quite a large Spanish contingent, all complimentary tickets, and I am sure from the photos she sent me they would have been around 132. I will try and post them on here, she's got some cool ones during the press conference with Mourinho too.

I presume it has to do with our relatively small exec seating area, and so the higher number of complimentary tickets that are given out for champs league games can't always be seated there. But that's just a guess.

There were loads sat near me in 324, all well behaved. Still not on though is it.

I've sat with away fans several times. And there have been plenty of threads on here before away european games when the main topic has been "how do I get a ticket in the home end?"

So as long as the away fans behave themselves then good luck to them.

I completely agree with that. But it's a different situation when Madrid fans, associates, family etc are given complimentary tickets from MCFC and then seated with the normal fans. I think it's generally accepted that if you sit in the exec areas you will be among some away supporters. However it is not accepted in the normal seats.

Also to be fair to the away supporters that receive complimentary tickets, they wouldn’t think they have to remain inconspicuous in their support, whereas if you buy a ticket in the home end, then unless you are stupid, you know to keep your head down.

I sit in 139 and at half time there were a group of away fans on the concourse. They were all wearing full Madrid Scarfs and would you belive that one of them was drapped in a GREEK flag. WTF.

I was streaming the game last night and on the chat some scum fans were saying others had bought tickets and membership then attended last nights game so they have chance of derby tickets - I pronounced this as bollocks but thanked them for the money as they need it more than us
