Away fans / tourists in home sections

Still charging you for the season ticket you can't use i bet?

Same happened to a mate of mine, banneed for slinging a liverpool fan towards the exit, court case a year later, charged for his season ticket every month after. City sold the seat for every game after the ban, and not allowed to renew despite the court case not being heard.

When the case was finally heard he'd had it with City and pleaded guilty for the smaller fine, he has no intention of returning he's 60 and been everywhere.

There's someone in his seat now every game who's been to offsite hospitality.

Innocent until proven guilty by the law of the land.

Guilty as charged in the eyes of MCFC.

I've been a season ticket holder for over 40 years. Never thrown a punch, never chucked a missile, lit a pyro, not indulged in racist or tragedy chanting (victims has no connection to any tragedy). I'm a noisy cantankerous old bastard granted, and I can ruffle a few feathers simply because I dont suffer fools, but I love my Club.

I am currently banned by the Club for an alleged incident with an over-zealous steward at Brentford in January. I was given a choice by the arresting officer, a trip down to Feltham nick for a few hours, or the incident could be treated as a Section 14 Football Related Incident. By going the Section 14 route I could avoid the trip to Feltham and get on my way. The case would then be dealt with at Court. I chose Section 14, which unbeknown to me at the time, automatically brings GMP & MCFC into play.

By 9am next day I received an email from the Club suspending my SC with immediate effect and told that I could not transfer, exchange or donate my seat. I can continue to pay for my seat but cannot use it, pending the outcome at Court.

The letter from City states "this ban is not an assumption of guilt". Well City, yes it fucking is, and guess what, you can now sell on my seat to any scouse, rag or tarquin who has the money to buy it, whilst still taking my DD payments.

I have no set Court date, no contact from The Met and cannot watch my team home or away.

Meanwhile, the Club take the opportunity to make money out of a longstanding supporters misfortune.

Up the fucking Blues...but fuck you isn't very far down the road.
Have you spoken to the FSA (Football supporters association) to see what support they can offer? It doesn’t sound legally right to me.

I’ve seen loads of violence at the rugby league. Wire v Widnes, Wire v Hull, Wire v Leeds at a GF, Leeds on Leeds at a GF, Leeds+other Yorkshire v Wigan at a GF, Wire and Saints at Newcastle when they weren’t even playing each other and they’d tried to sell tickets to Saints near Wire because Saints were playing Widnes and Wire were playing Wigan.

At a Wire v Widnes game, there was fighting before during and after the game.
You're talking about a long time ago though. If people are so inclined they'll find trouble anywhere. I followed Warrington home and away and the only trouble I can remember was the boxing day games Vs Widnes. At least you can still swap ends at half time.

1. Hair Clippers.
2. Inflatable Koolie hat.
3. Does anyone want to guess what is going to be brought into the City end by a tourist against Plymouth?

Makes me laugh when I see the “stop exploiting loyalty banner”

The club couldn’t give a shit! You have paid to be at the game and will continue to do so. They are laughing at you. Wake up.
All this wishy washy shite never works

We need Soriano out banners, tifos of Khaldoon in a Barcelona shirt, anti board songs

We need fans to gather to boo and jeer directors when they arrive and people in the main stand hurling abuse at the director's box

We need City Matters to put out a statement saying they aren't a bunch of lapdogs and unless the club engage in open dialogue (no NDA's) and take serious action in this regard they can fucking do one

We need a boycott at a game that won't be attractive to half and half twats so Soriano's precious match day revenue is affected

These cunts have stolen our club

Do you recognise that the tribalism in football has positives as well as the negatives you’re so keen to highlight?

And out of interest if we did end segregation how would that look? Would you still have designated home and away ends or would grounds be fully mixed, or something in between? One consequence I’d worry about is that you’d end up with far more away fans in the home end, which push up the price of tickets and make attending games even harder for fans who are already being priced out

That's because we perpetuate the attitudes that caused it to be introduced in the first place.
Let’s start by removing the segregation for the next Etihad derby.

It didn't though. You could rock up at grounds and pay at the turnstiles to get in. When I was at uni a few of us decided to drive over to Liverpool one midweek night and watch City at Everton. We sat in the Upper Gwladys and had a good laugh with the Everton fans.
Yes but you are talking about 50 years ago. That is not relatively recent.

Segregation is there for a reason and has been there for decades.

If City ticketing was run properly and they were t chasing the dollars of away and neutral supporters there wouldn’t be a problem.

The fact that the club rep at last weeks City Matters was all sympathy to the CM reps during the meeting knowing full well they had sold out the LFC game to the highest bidders yet again stinks.
