Away fans / tourists in home sections

Look no further than the lad charged at Anfield recently, absolute disgrace.
Been loads charged with chanting Murderers at Anfield this season and last season. It happened to my mate last season. It’s fucking mental that reminding them of what they did at Heysel can end up getting you a 3 year FBO. In the past FBOs used to be reserved for those involved in organised football violence but now they’re dishing them out for everything.

Luckily my mate escaped getting a FBO as they tried adding bits on to his case that weren’t true - such as being aggressive to a steward after being lifted despite having no video evidence of that. And knowing what he’s like, he isn’t the kind of person who would be aggressive to anyone. He paid a lot of money for a decent lawyer and she drove a coach and horses through a lot of the prosecution case, but ultimately he admitted to the Murderers chant as they had it on video. Despite not getting a FBO though, City have still banned him for 3 years. It might come as a surprise to some but in City’s supporter charter the minimum ban for “tragedy chanting” is 3 years, whereas the minimum ban for scrapping in the stadium or throwing flares onto the pitch is 1 year.

With the greatest respect:
How on earth would somebody on Twitter know that 3000+ Plymouth fans have bought tickets for the City end?
"A lot of stewards quit after Sunday"?
Really?. Evidence of that?

Big John From Southend that lives in his parents box room at the age of 48 knows everything because he's on Twatter.

Apparently all the stewards had to give him there notice to hand into the club for them as he's the figure head.

All the Plymouth fans that got tickets in the home end took a photo of there ticket that they purchased and sent it to John via Viber or Bebo and he could tell them whether they can attend or not.

Read a lot of that guff and it's all about what the fans should do and very little about what the club can do, if anyone needed any indication the club couldn't give a fuck about us fans it's there in black and white.

A near relative of mine was a Govenor and veteran of battles with Chelsea,Millwall, Leeds etc. He always reckoned the top firms per capita were Middlesboro and especially Birmingham. Always found there fans sound when I've met them on holiday etc, however back in the early 90s they smashed Blackpool to pieces.
And made Blackpool look infinitely nicer.

Disagree completely. Let’s not normalise this nonsense any further.

Exactly. Can't pick and choose who does it. They're segregated for a reason. Can't be accepting of that and then take exception when the rags/dippers etc do it. They aren't our rivals, but they are that day and are an obstacle to winning the only trophy we're left in. Bizarre thinking.

Just out of interest how can the police prove what you said ? Is the sound that good on the police video that it singles out your voice ?

Video evidence. Then Merseyside Police get a lip reader in to confirm what has been chanted. .

Another thing Merseyside Police do. They take the person outside Anfield and charge them there instead of inside the Anfield. That way they can add/ask for an exclusion zone around the away fans home grounds.

Merseyside Police are absolute cunts. They will use every trick in the Police book to charge opposing fans with additional charges.

Yet they turn a blind eye to what Liverpool fans do and chant. As we all know.

It's not just Merseyside Police. LFC have plain clothes spotters in the away end, and stewards watching away fans chanting. I've no doubt the home stewards that accompany away fans to Anfield are also looking for people chanting.

Anfield is the most watched away end in the PL. In fact, it's become an obsession and part and parcel of the match day routine for Liverpool staff, stewards, and Merseyside Police. It's paranoia.

The female head steward at Anfield was the worst steward i have ever seen in nearly 50 years of watching City, actively being provocative and trying to and succeeding in getting blues arrested and ignoring the Liverpool fans, she was a witch

But they don’t stop Liverpool fans gibbing in, still.
Next time you see them a an away game, look at their section, absolutely rammed, every time, stood in the isles, looking over each others shoulders in the seats.
Wembley even worse.

Yes, I've seen her myself. She stopped one of my mates going in. There was a slight altication. Nothing serious. He thought it was over. The next thing Merseyside Police pulled him out of the away queue outside Anfield. The Police took him away. He missed the match. He was sat on the coach.

She is actively looking for away fans to get them removed from the away end.

The horrible Scouse woman!

And to think I stopped a couple of their stewards getting battered on my last visit, about 5 years ago.

I think it was on the same visit that I might have been chanting murderers and a copper was stood a few feet away. He just told me to grow up. How things have changed in 5 years.
