An offside goal, a great free kick and an individual error from Kompany/Nastasic cost us three goals in a game we completely dominated. How are any of those things Pellegrinis fault? We played well today, it was just an unfortunate result.

We dominated possession but were sloppy at the back and terrible in the final third; that's not playing well but unfortunate, it's getting what we deserved through too many poor things - team selection, tactics, substitutions were all poor from the coach and as I said being sloppy at the back and poor in their box was poor from the team. Yes we had lots of the ball in the middle third of the pitch and loads of aimless crosses that created lots of quarter-chances. That's not good enough to win away games. You have to be ruthless an clinical!

We were worse at Cardiff and Stoke - poor heading from Stoke saw us escape with a point; but it's not good. We'll lose 10 games at this rate.

I wrote this after the Cardiff match. It must be as infuriating for Pellegrini as it was for Mancini. The performance was better today than the two previous but Villa I thought were poor and yet again we have not won the game.

The defence were under very little pressure yet we have conceded three.

The performance of the team should not fluctuate so differently from home games to away games. Is it the players are not mentally strong enough away from home or can they not motivate themselves in the same way as home matches?

Next two away matches in the league Chelsea and WHU. Both will provide a huge test for Pellegrini and its not hard to imagine we wont have an away win after 5 away games.

Wouldnt imagine we wont have one after Cardiff, Stoke, Villa.
