I suppose , at fifty odd quid a ticket , some of their supporters thought 'fuck that' ..... and others will have put off by the timing of the game.

On Bernard from chaddertons coach, good laugh but seriously why do we play at places so far away on holidays
This season we away to slumberland on boxing day and Norwich on new years. That is a joke.

Southampon have cocked up as they haven't sold them in blocks ,so the returns cant be sold to city fans cos we can't have safe segregation. I am told they will be liable for the costs though
Expensive cock up then.

Won 2 nil, still one of the best away days I have had to this day. Sometimes football and odd kick off times do mix!
I was there that day as well. Top day.
I think Tiatto scored?
Those were the days that I'd travel to Southampton on a week day night when the game is on the telly... ah, the spirit of youth...
Tried to visit Stonehenge before the game but there were fences for miles around

I remember it as well. You hanging out of my car window singing "Tia, tia tiatto tiatto tiattoooo" and Lou being embrassed at the behaviour of her Dad. Some things never change ;-)
