I agree mate. I guess the exceltions seem to be games like Burnley and Huddersfield where
Most of our following watch without getting behind the team. Each to their own but it doesn’t help.
Thats a fucking horrible generalisation by the way, even if you're including yourself in that criticism.

I've seen fantastic atmospheres at games that have sold out over 20k points and I've seen dog shit ones for those too. I've seen fantastic atmospheres at games which have gone on general sale or haven't sold out, and some generally dog shit ones too.

The atmosphere at Burnley the year we went 3-0 up after 5 mins (pushing to qualify for the Champions League for the first time) was good, when we drew last year, miles ahead in the league, not so good. As I said, circumstances dictate.

There were groups of young lads at both. Generally I think they contribute to an improved atmosphere, but quite often they'll sing in the concourses before the game and then during the game are absolutely silent. They are not solely responsible for the atmosphere.

Both Newcastle and Everton went to general sale one week apart, they were both great, right?

I enjoyed both Newcastle and Everton mate. I get behind the Team win, lose or draw. I wouldn’t try too hard to criticise other people’s generalisations if you are citing a 3 nil up after 20mins game.

Same mate. I wasn't the one slagging off 2,999 other blues.

This isn’t a competition between who sings more than the other.
I think that the younger support being there last night did contribute to it being as good as it was, but the fact that last night was a chance to go top was also a reason.
Either way there was probably loads of kids there last night at their first away and giving these people the chance to see what it can be like will hopefully get em singing more when it comes to home games?

Its ok, I'm just running through ideas to increase our away following. Another suggestion would be for the PL to increase the amount of away tickets from a maximum of 3000 to say 3,500 or 4,000; but obviously that wouldn't sit well with you.

It would sit well with me if they gave us 3000 for Bournemouth.

Not going to go down well this but....

Supporters Clubs made their order for Everton away couple of weeks ago.
Date got changed and there were loads cancelled and was it hard to distribute the excess. Corporate tickets similar.
Hence a much higher allocation for points holders>>>>>> better atmosphere

I saw your Burnley Supoorters Club in the Sir Tommy Frost before the game. Our City Matters Rep was in there as well disguised as Ringo Starr

I didn’t know there was a Burnley Supporters Club.
Yes my wife and I had a long chat with one of the City Matters rep before kick off.
I also saw you and waved, but I think you ignored it.

I was engrossed in the game mate so I missed your waive.

I bumped into Harvey and Irene mate

I was watching on the telly......'cos I'm a c*nt!

Seriously though, it sounded a cracking atmosphere on the stream I was watching. Even at the nervy times the fans were still getting behind the team, which is how it should be for me

I was in with your 1894 boys. It was good just being able to sing throughout the game cos there was also quite a few nervous Blues about st 1 nil

Not city related as such but nice to see aways tickets capped at £30 again

Premier League clubs make unanimous decision to recognise commitment of travelling fans for next three seasons

Premier League clubs have today unanimously agreed to continue the £30 cap on away ticket prices for the next three seasons.

All clubs know the crucial importance of away fans in generating the best possible atmosphere at matches and recognise the additional travel costs often involved when following a team away from home.

The £30 away ticket cap was introduced in the 2016/17 season after the successful implementation of the Premier League Away Supporters’ Initiative, where clubs provided a range of measures for their away fans.

For the last four consecutive seasons, Premier League crowds have reached record levels with 96 per cent of tickets sold.

This is testament to the compelling football and dedication of fans, and the League is committed to maintaining these high attendances.

I must be losing my touch because that's not the first time this season that a game I've not been at has had a great atmosphere. Saints away over Christmas sounded like the fans were bang up for it too.

Re your comments about Burnley and Huddersfield - agree that these aways have been largely disappointing atmosphere-wise over the past few seasons but the second half at Huddersfield the other week was a lot better. Very easy to get songs going, unlike other times where we can put 2 or 3 times the amount of effort in and it falls flat on it's arse!

27 Tickets in the City Section at Bournemouth available from Live Football Tickets.
Priced from £175.00 to £ 225.00
If the Club were interested they would buy these and ban/fire whoever sold them.

Really strange at times us.

Three years running (last two Prem games and the FA Cup game the year before) we’ve had really poor atmospheres at Huddersfield and two years running at Burnley.

Yet there have been some grounds where we’ve always made a decent noise over the years: West Brom, Stoke, Villa, Fulham, Leicester...

It's been explained before that these agencies don't have the tickets so there's nothing to buy. They take orders then try to source them. If you order one, you won't get it (if you get it at all) until just before the game. They may well pose as posters on here for example and ask for tickets in the ticket thread or on the Facebook pages.

Sorry that doesn't stand up.
They certainly do not buy them from the FV sites on facebook and I haven't seen anyone on here asking for tickets .
Forget this lot then, you tell me how Celtic Horizons are offering tickets and Hotel Packages and in some cases travel without having access to one ticket ???
