Away tickets

The medium pointers, and perhaps low pointers should be looking forward to their trip to Deepdale.
But I expect plenty of excuses.
On sale tomorrow btw.

I will be getting both Deepdale and Everton this Monday (all being well) but I think it is a sad reflection on our support that there is constant bickering amongst us regarding tickets. The £30 cap has levelled the playing field, if Everton was £50 and the London clubs £60-70 the demand would be even less but just as much aggression.

Some have got weary of all the whingeing about away ticket allocations. For some, VAR has dimmed their interest and a few will be cutting back on aways due to age, money or family circumstances.

The very high demand games will still go to very high points and the Blues who get this tickets have earnt them.

Which are the very high demand games though? Rags, Liverpool and...?

I saw PB before the Spurs game and he had no interest in this forum.

If he said that to you @Tim of the Oak I'm afraid he is telling you porkies! I received an email after posting something on here a couple of weeks ago basically taking me to task for an opinion I had posted a couple of days before!!

He did state that his account on here was de-activated but that he still reads the posts. I will also add that I was a lot more polite in my response than he was in his email! :-(

It was more a case of Colin’s body language that gave the impression that he’d put this forum behind him. He did laugh when I told him that I was being called Kevin Parker’s love child on here lol!

I think the bigger issue is that the City Matters changes to date haven’t had any significant noticeable impact. Yes the 18-25 allocation means that some diehards no loner get their aways on the first day of sale but most games have gone to lower points than expected. Improvements have been made to the food and drink offer (if not the service) and Champs League tickets have been reduced in price. Some people say the queues have been shortened for some games but I queued linger than usual before the Brighton game.

It’s still early days for City Matters of course.

So you made it up....
