I don't like a lot of his music, but I agree he is a genius. And I don't like using that term, but he is.A lot of Prince's music is absolute gash but is he a genius?

I thought Jim Morrison was as well. And in keeping with the thread subject I don't like Roadhouse Blues by The Doors.

I always hated this.
Radiohead are one of my favourite bands but they've done quite a few depressing tracks I think. And Thom Yorke in a maudlin whiney voice can be a tad too depressing for me. That said, most their upbeat stuff is fantastic listening IMO.

I have absolutely no problem with people not liking The Beatles we all have difference musical tastes.
But when someone says they were overrated I just don't see how anyone can say that, you can't argue with facts and the opinions of top musicians.

The chilis do put out quite a lot of absolute mince, wonder sometimes how they think some are ok.

, Nimrod mate I'm 60 so well aware Prince never played with R.T.F. I do agree when you say he has the talent.Is that a hypothetical ? I don't remember him being in Return to Forever. Although I suspect he has the talent required.
It was more for Banned Tosspot who I couldn't work out if he was being serious or not, or trying to provoke a reaction. Take care down there my uncle Brian resides in McLean NSW.
