To be fair, I think he picked up the beginnings of his injury about halfway through the first half and was trying to cover it for the latter part, leading to some unfortunate moments (the Hazard chance being one of them).

Excellent today, rapidly turning into my favourite player,great goal line clearance and all round reading of the game,the pass to de Bruyne was absolute class

As has been said, if Van Dijk had done that clearance we'd have been hearing about it for a while.


What excites me so much about Laporte (and Stones) is that he's still so young. He's in theory a way off his prime yet.
