We spent +60mil on two CB, and still willing to spend another +30million !

Why don't we just call Denayer back ?

Its difficult to guess Peps summer plans, and I guess much does depend on Denayers future,however......if he chooses to bring this lad in,then Managala, given his apparent lack of technical skills, and his desire to play first team football,is definitely the most likely to leave, possibly even as a make weight in any Laporte deal.
Is this kid worthy of the reputation? plus the upheaval? I haven't seen much of him.

I don't think Mangala is especially poor on the ball. He's looks awkward at times but i believe he has better passing stats this season than Otamendi whose passing is overrated and nothing special and indeed any other defender at our club. He keeps it simple and doesn't give the ball away. What you want in a defender imo. I wouldn't say any of our current defenders are especially great on the ball, and i include Kompany in that. He, like Otamendi, both look naturally comfortable on the ball but when put under any kind of genuine pressure they just lump it down the wing and give the ball away

Has Mangala become Basque?

Are they that blinkered?

Im a fan of Managala's,I hope he stays,however.....there are many occasions when he treats the ball like a stick of dynamite,as he does tend to panic in possession and doesn't look at all comfortable. His strengths are definitely elsewhere.

It'll have to be after Pep since he won't unsettle one of his own
Yeah, even though pep is now city manager, he wouldnt want to upset one of his former clubs. This is that came into barca and within a year got rid of deco, eto'o and ronaldinho, and won every trophy. Besides, he wouldnt have to unsettle them, plaers are allowed to leave barca you know?

Pep won't unsettle Barcelona players, fact

There will be plenty of other players eager to join City because of Guardiola

I agree he looks as uncomfortable as Lescott did when he had to turn full circle just to kick the ball with his left foot. However, the stats show he actually rarely gives the ball away. Not suggesting it's a strong point or anything just that i don't think it's as big of a weakness as it's being made out to be. He's perfectly capable of playing football from the back, just in a very nervous and unorthodox way
