Yea, but a lot more angry. Their independence movement had an active terrorist wing.
So did the catalans:

Never knowingly seen him play but Pep wanted him so that was good enough for me.
Tricky has not done well again tho. This seemed tied up but he's at the very least badly misread the situation and not got the deal fully signed off.
Well from what I can make of it I think city spoke with player n agent agreed personal terms then either player wanted to think about it and went back to club and got better deal than his current one and changed his mind . We didn't actually put a bid in so somewhere in there things have happened and he signed new deal with higher wage n bigger buy out . Personally I think he will eventually end up at barca .Does anyone know whether he ever told City he would move? As far I am aware, he was told that City would be willing to activate his buy-out clause and was given a few days to decide. He listened to Athletic's counter offer and decided to stay.
I can't but help feel that we have been used here to negotiate a better deal with the club he obviously loves
My contact advises that both him and his representatives gave firm assurances that he would be coming only to pull this at the last minute with City completely in the dark about it
I think we've been mugged off
Sucks mate, heard anything new on the Aubameyang front??

When you buy ready made players who have made a name for themselves at there club then it will always be a case of the selling club playing hardball.
The knack is buying these players before they become household names-something unfortunately we are not very good at doing, is it our scouting network? who knows.
Reading so many post on here I now realise that the phrase 'bitters" is suited to some. Some of our fanbase have got a right cheek having a go at a player who wants to remain at his club. Just because we come calling doesn't mean that a deal is in the bag. It's arrogance personified to think that way and even worse to have a go at a club who choose to run their club as they see fit.
As much as we like to think it, we aren't the be all and end all to the vast majority of footballers out there.
If we miss out on our first choice targets then we have to hope that the men being paid the big bucks have a plan B,C and D to fall back on. If not then we can all throw hissy fits but seeing as the transfer window hasn't even fucking opened yet I think some are going off a little premature.
