Not saying it is necessarily ideal but Sane can play LWB, so we do have some cover.Covering left back would certainly be useful, we seem very short with only Kolarov if rumoured targets are right.

Rudiger is one to watch.
From what I've seen from him he's just Mangala 2.0, only gets by because of his physical qualities.
My choice at CB here, his skillset is absolutely unique in the position and tailor made for a Pep team.
I don't care if he turned us down, he's a talented player, but young and foolish, and is allowed to make mistakes. Indeed, according to an interview at the start of May he recognises he made some and would think again if given the opportunity.
