Basque country actually starts in south west France near where he was born. Some of his family are Basque. Thats why he can play for Bilbao

Been speaking with a Bilbao fan who says he is surprised we want AL. Says he would be a good signing for Everton.

Yeah they relaxed the rules a few years back from being you have to be born in Basque country to having some kind of Basque parentage
