I wonder if they had to pay 59 million for a defender, Than why didnt they go for van dijk for 75 million? Van dijk is a better defeendr and has premier league experience as well.

This means we can let Mangala join Utd for 50m and 500,000 a week wages

    Oh Manchester, is wonderful....
Love to say I’d seen him play a lot, but I haven’t. If Pep wants him, that’s good enough for me.

If it goes through it will really help our chances in the CL, pep wants to play 3 cbs against the big teams and this will allow him to do it, with Mendy coming back in a few months we will be set

For those who missed it earlier and wonder why he's uncapped at senior level, he suffered the injury in what was supposed to be his last U21 game before him and Umiti were going to get called up. As we know Umtiti continued his form with Lyon and got his dream move. Laporte's injury came at a bad time for him and he's now overlooked, has nothing to do with form Deschamps is just stubborn and still makes terrible selection choices. What's also a bit funny about this move is reading Athletic Club fans reactions they what to used the money to buy Iñigo Martinez.
