Will take time as per men

Reports in Spain suggest the deal has been struck, but MEN Sport understands the two clubs are still wrangling over the fee - and the deal may not even get done before next week's transfer deadline.

Back to the Evans thread, you can't put a good man down that quickly.

Number of people who defend him on here as a pundit should hang your heads in shame.

He can't help himself, tries to keep himself in check but can't, he is rag scum of the highest order. Him and his sexist brother can both #### off.

Here's how you know Brennan is bullshitting: Bilbao never let a player go for less than the release clause. Even in a case where said player will rot on the bench and then walk for free (as they did with Fernando Llorente)

We don't even have to negotiate with them. We negotiate with the player, he agrees (this has long since happened) and then we deposit the money. Done and dusted.

I like Brennan, but MuEN are attempting to gain mileage from an incredibly straight forward, and speedy, process.

but we didnt have a left sides central defender.

I very much doubt that Pep will regularly go with three centre backs but he will want it as an option: tactical flexibility is something he values.

I think it bears repeating that fundamentally all Pep's teams essentially play 3-4-3 although the line-ups are usually shown as 4-3-3. The three at the back is normally two CB's and a DM dropped in between. Even with the ball playing skills of our CB's, with AFL if he signs, Pep will still prefer the skills of a Fern or Fred(?) in that central role.
