In addition to the 1 million pound banknote, the Bank of England also has stashed away 40 banknotes for the same purpose named "titans" with a value of 100 million pounds each. Whereas the 1 million pound note is A5 in size, the 100 million pound note is the larger A4 size. This is by far the largest (known) banknote in the world in terms of real value.

Would they be accepted by the staff in the bar in Colin Bell Level1? Cos they don't seem able to accept or have change for any of the other fucking notes I've tried to hand them.

Heard we are paying with bit coin

"Manchester City will deposit the £57m fee at 1pm UK time via bitcoin. The £61m fee will be a club record, eclipsing the current record paid for Kevin de Bruyne. The fee of £76m will be a world record fee for a defender."

Laporte will not have a chance to say a goodbye to Athletic Bilbao and fans at a press conference, with Manchester City deciding his first comments must go together with his official presentation. [ElDesmarque Bizkaia]

Why hasn't he been capped by France? Seems a strange one considering he has been on our radar for a few years and also Barca and we are now spending 57million on. Not like he's 18/19 years old, he is pushing on 23 and behind the likes of Verane, Umtiti and Koschielny.

Julien Laurens was saying on the Totally Football Show that Deschamps isn't Laporte's biggest fan for some reason.

I really hope this works out. We've spent so much money on our quest to sort the CB position out. Would be nice if he hits the ground running and we nail down that position for years to come.

I wonder how Pep will integrate Laporte in to the team, as part of a back three or in place of Stones or Otamendi? If it's the latter then who does he replace? I get that there are plenty of games for all three to play but surely Pep will want to have a first choice partnership. I personally think Laporte will be given time to adjust this season and as long as Stones regains his form then they will be our main CB partnership from next season onwards.
