In my opinion our biggest problem at the moment is doing the basics right.
We seem to have an inability to control the ball and play the simple pass and as for our defending! Two of our players challenging for the same ball is basic defending.

Hopefully it's just a temporary glitch as new players bed in and easily rectified.

While the League start has been slightly below par, last night was off the scale

I expect a much improved performance at Fulham and at home to Dortmund and Sunderland. Whether it will be enough to win all 3, we will see

I'm going with temporary glitch, the more games played the tighter we'll become.

Agree with this. Also perhaps the players could attend some physics lessons at night so that they understand that it's impossible for a solid ie "the ball" to pass through another solid ie "an opposing player"

its a blip we'll be fine

one defeat in extra time wont ruin our season, if you look back to our fixtures last season then there still on a par except the arsenal result and last night of course. i know we need to improve but there is alot of new blood still nervous and trying to hard to impress i guess. give it time blues and im sure we'll be lifting that throphy again come may.

i personally think we are missing richards badly but our players that fill in are more than capable. lets get a win at fulham and everything will be fine again untill we lose again ;-)

ps,i hate this forum when we lose

Gave me a scare there, I read it wrong and thought you meant Richard Wright.

I hate it when we draw, never mind lose.

Correct.Last year we kept possession of the ball, passing it around, looking for an opening. If one didnt appear we'd pass back, regroup and try again, and it wore teams down chasing us all over the pitch. We seem to be in a major hurry to play the killer ball this year. Trying a pass which just isnt on and giving away possession cheaply, which results in players, having pushed forward, being badly out of position.
