Baconface given £60M transfer kitty?

Why on earth would Sneijder want to go to manure, leave a treble winning side who won the European cup to go to a side where their best player has said the team aren't good enough for him and isn't showing any ambition.

Anyone manure are wanting to sign are going to take a long look at Rooney's statements and any world class players are going to want similar assurances so they will be in a catch-22, strangely enough similar to what City has been going through for the last couple of years. They still have the benefit of their "history" but red lights are flashing, obviously good news for Rooney :-)

Reckon there's a disappointing transfer window coming up, where they really try to sign messi (nudge nudge wink wink) but, sign a 17-year-old instead whilst cursing the fact that there's NO REAL VALUE OUT THERE!!!

If they won everything i.e FA Cup, League Cup, League champions and Champions League and whore themselves out like a Rooney type nighttime bed warmer, they would still NOT be able to pay the debt for that year.....Let's hope they buy some shit, get screwed and end up selling the big issue on the corner of Stretford Rd..

It doesn't really matter to the Glaziers now, Rooney has signed so if he now wants out they can get the big transfer fee they want.

There is still the issue of his team mates being pissed off with him and i expect Fergie still isn't to happy. Plus anyone who thinks they are key to the team will be looking for a pay hike.

to be fair I think any player would be more interested in seeing that they've won the league 3 out of the last 4 years and a champions league rather than what Wayne Rooney said during contract talks. I know everybody wants to see the decline of United but I've seen it declared too many times to think it's actually here until they finish outside the top 4.
