really are we???????????????

Yes.

lets say yes mancini has ok then why then did he rip up our attacking game when it was working fine, this one baffles me with mancini as to why he had to totally change the system going forward when that part of the team worked?

Because it only worked when we were so open that the defence couldn't cope, so he's gone back to basics and is working from the back to front, the defence is more solid, we played well last night I don't care what anyone else says because that's how I saw it, and I just think people are having a whine and a moan over nothing.

It wasn't working "fine" at all. It was simply making allowances for our defence, without really having any impact. Witness the game at OT back in September.

Exactly. The defence was getting shot to pieces and we're scratching our heads wondering why we spent £50m on a defence that was rubbish and Hughes (unbelievably) was making noises about buying in yet another set of defenders. Dunne is a classic example of a good defender who goes to a team that defends as a team and looks even better. He looks good because its organised. Ours were left exposed and getting slaughtered.

You defend as a team and attack as a team and this is what Mancini is trying to get across to the players. And all we do is rip the crap out of him. Seriously I am not that fussed if we end up getting rid of Mancini and get in a Mourinho or a Capello because at some stage the penny is going to drop and we are all going to have a collective face palm moment.
