Bugger. Surely even Saint Bob isn't going to put him in our starting lineup, though, especially if Milner arrives.

I wish some of you would stop slating our fucking players.
Vieira's inclusion in the squad brings invaluable experience. Whilst he;s not the leggy box to box destroyer of old, he can help the rest learn how to take the game by the scruff of the neck.
The last two seasons, we have been toothless in a hell of a lof games. We've been dominated in midfield by many many sides, a good few of them that have nowhere near the squad we do.
Vieira has been part of a team that when a whole PL seaosn unbeaten. You can't buy experience like that and that's why he's here!!
Give him a break for fucks sake. Kompany, Barry and now Vieira.

Kompany and Barry are important squad members.
Vieira is an old man who can't run and can't impose himself on a game.
