By strange coincidence, the winner of the Harden's Observer Readers' Choice for Indian Cuisine in the UK (and located on Burton Road, West Didsbury), is of course The Great Khatmandu - the plot thickens...

lol good one

but seriously The Khatmandu is my favourite place for a curry, the food is wonderful and the service exceptional, been there lots and its my 1st choice for a takeaway

I believe there was some really strong competition for the award - I was told they just won it by a whisker...

please explain why the plot thickens? the great kathmandu wins an award located about 3 miles away, where even mid week you struggle to get a table , are you saying they went to all the trouble of beheading a loads of cats and planting them behind a competitors restaurant ???

I thought it was the Chinese who ate cat not Indian's .....

The idea of eating cat was introduced into China in the late 60s by Chairman Meow

...we have a winner! Well done... (though I prefer medium rare...)
