Who likes these? I used to have them quite a lot in England and never minded them. Bought a can the other day for the first time in 15 years and threw half of the can out. I can't remember beans being so sweet tasting it was grim. Maybe they add more sugar here but it put me off.

To be honest for proper English food i used a store called expatshop or some shit, it cost a fucking bomb but it was worth it for the lucozade alone. American baked beans are sweet as it gets boss, i can't stand em. Your fucked for proper sausages to unless you can find a proper butcher, they probably call it artisan or some silly modern name.

You filthy bastard. Fried egg with beans? The risk of cross contamination with bean juice and yolk is a risk too far. There should always be a barrier of sausages in between egg yolk and bean juice.

Egg and cheese is a Welsh thing that I never have got, rarebit my arse. Cheese in a fry up would be really wrong as well.

I like any egg to be near the potato product (be that hash browns, potato waffle or potato cake) I have with my fry up, the sausage/beans barrier being an important thing as you say.
