Baked Beans

I don't get why Heinz beans in the States taste different (and worse) than Heinz beans in the UK. Costs me $2 more a can from the ''ethnic aisle'' to get UK Heinz but worth it.

Also, in the states you have to check the label. The cans also contain bacon or pork or any other kind of meat the Yanks want to throw in..... if they don't have anything in, the label says confusingly ''vegetarian baked beans''
We now have Heinz curry and also cheesy flavours.

There must be only 5 - 10 people who are old enough to get that reference you old bastard.

Have you seen @stony eat? Carnage isn't the word. He didn't get that fat by being fussy about what he eats. Which is why his stance on separating food is a weird one.

"Where's my hourly snack love?"

"It's on it's way dear, I had to pop to the shops for more eggs."

As the sweaty obese mass that is stony sits at the kitchen table a creaking noise breaks the silence. Due to the size of the huge man's stomach the table is quite far away.

"You'll have to feed me love, I can't fucking reach."

Your deranged rant at gentlemen of the fuller figure has been noted. What a shameful display of body shaming by someone who should know better. And for your information, Mr Creosote is a well loved comedy character, you hairy footed, cheese eating, 3 breakfast eating, ring bearing, spider stabbing, arkenstone stealing, dwarf shagging, Swp's back headed, Phil Collins looking, cross dressing ****.

Likening me to that bald headed fuckwit hurts. Really hurts.

Plus I'm sure he swings both ways.

Heinz reduced salt and sugar with a slug of lea and perrins.

Nowhere near the (soft poached) egg.

We don't get that here. We have the local equivalent.

I'll have to look out for that. It pains me to buy lea and perrins what with it originating in the Midlands.

You'll be lucky if you can find it outside south yorkshire. I'd never heard of it until I moved here, but the local won't use anything else. You even see it in the chippies.

Key for me is tomato purée. Thickens the sauce which (in cheap brands in particular) can be a bit watery.

I like the toast to remain fairly crispy, or some of it at least. It's good to use as a spoon in the same way you'd use a naan bread with a curry. If you just let all the bread go soggy you lose the texture contrast.
