Ronaldo. Bale maybe younger, but they are leagues apart. Ronaldo is arguably the best player in the world. Even if he has just two years left signing him would guarantee City the next two league titles. Signing Bale wouldn't and wouldn't help that much should you come across teams like Juventus/Atletico or even Chelsea.

Ronaldo. In terms of impact on games he's probably the most effective player ever. If we signed him we'd win the league next season and probably the one after that.
Though Bale is a fantastic player and I'd love him at City, he's not at Ronaldo's level, and not really that close to it.
