As far as I'm concerned, World Class means that any given player in is among the three best in his position, thus giving around 33 World Class players at any given period in time.

Others may define World Class differently.

In many ways, Bale is as good or better than Ronaldo and in other ways he still has room for improvement.

There's no such thing as world class.

He's just a very good footballer, nowhere near as good as CRonaldo, far superior to the likes of Ashley Young.

Excactly..if all the top managers in the world were given the choice of either Bale,Messi or Ronaldo..Bale would be last choice.

If Navas was in his bracket he would be playing for Madrid, allegedly chronically homesick, he would clearly have preferred to go to Madrid rather than us. I think people are delusional to think otherwise.

Anyway is it such a big deal to be the third best player at Barca, or the second best at Madrid?

Don't think the lad has that big an ego to let it worry him quite frankly.

Internationally? Well he would walk in to the England team, and I couldn't see him being left out of the starting 11 of Spain Brazil Italy Belgium or Germany for that matter.

If he came to us, do you think that Zabaleta would be player of the year again?

He honed his game and learnt to attack the weakest link in opposition defences like Ronaldo.

I believe he will win Ronaldo the Ballon D'or with his unselfish play, The thought of those two switching position and attacking our back four with Benzema is quite frightening.

He is certainly better than Giggs and Beckham at a similar age individually, but they were both part of the best mid-field I have ever seen from these shores, and thats my point, he will become part of a fantastic team.

Up there with Keegan and Gascoigne already, and has the ability to eclipse Best, Bell, and Charlton. I believe possibly only Dalglish will be remembered better

Apart from being slightly faster, Ronaldo is literally better than Bale at every aspect of the game.

Bale despite being world class and one of the top 3 players in the league last year, is vastly overrated. He is not worth close to 85 million. Madrid want to break the Ronaldo transfer fee, but I don't think it will work that well. The team Mourinho built was virtually perfect. All they needed was to buy a right back.
