40 Million - is Bale really that good?

yes he is.

His perfromances this season would not warrant such a price tag and many many spurs fans watching his performances would disagree - check out some of the forums

His stand out season was 2010 - 2011 in the CL where he was a stand out player and i aont seen that type of performance this season

Silva - free role from the right
Nasir - rotation for any of the above, or drop him deeper into a central playmaker role, where I think he could work wonders.

The deal would be worth £40m, probably looking at £20-25m in cash plus 'Bayor and AJ.

So Ade just has to take an 80K per week pay cut or Spuds have to break the bank - both extremely unlikely

He aint a top top world player - he has had once decent season and a brilliant CL series of games

His performances this season have been average and occassionally excellent - his impact no where near a 40 million player

We do need a player whom can run with the ball maybe Hazard would be good - Levazzi would be another both half the price both similar players - use our scouting system like Newcastle have done this season fantastically well there are other players out there

The difference between winning something and not is that the players over season play consistently well and at a high level - and that is not what Bale has been this season - 40 Million madness
