wasn't samba at fault for chelsea's 2nd today, he hasn't been in very good form recently.

Unsure mate as i only just got back from the game, but i know he's head is elsewhere and i personally hope it's to us. All these so called marquee and money signings aint the answer, get a bit of solidity and bollocks at the back and you just never know.

was skimming through the BBC page on the way back and I think he caused it, but not sure.

For me Samba would only be a year or 2 short term fix, and maybe not of that real quality, besides he's been used to hit and hoof at Blackburn, and for me that won't fit into our style of play, christ Joleon got bollocked on here the other week for it.

I trust Mancini, and I think the defensive problems have been mainly down to Kolo's loss of form, I think Joleon has done better than him, but his needless penalty give away today caused unnecessary aggro.

I just don't see Samba as a solution.

the only way i see us signing another cb is if we move lescott though. also why not try micah in the center sometime, between him, boyata, boateng kolo and lescott, not to mention the possibility of ned back next season, surely we have a center back we can count on without overpaying for another average defender. I'm all for using our financial position when we need to but this seems like a problem we can solve in-house.

He's only 26 and i don't see why he could'nt become a permanent CB, as i said regs.. Komps bein' the ball player, he is the ball winner and we have needed goals from the back(and midfield) all season and before. I like Kolo but NOBODY can win an argument never mind a set piece, it really does seem like they are two foot bigger than us and we have some units as well, i say get him.

Thing is though mate all the players 'in-house' have'nt dealt with the set plays, to me it does'nt ,matter if you are right, left or centre back, you should be winning balls off corners and free kicks, we don't and just as important, we don't score enough either(apart from Lescott the other week and Kolo today), nobody chips in with half a dozen a season anymore.
