Those Chelsea muppets make me smile because most of them daft enough to mock us haven't a fuckin' clue on where Chelsea were as a club before Roman Russian Rogue came along.
They sneer about us having no histree yet before the PL was formed and when they were formed in 1905 they only managed to win the old First Division once in 1954/55. They went 50 years before they won the league again, this time as the PL in 2004/5.
But after their sole first division title win they went 15 years to win the old Cup winners cup in 71 beating Real Madrid. They then went 26 years before their next proper trophy,(discounting their 86 Full Members Cup win over us) the FA Cup in 1997 under Ken Bates as owner and chairman of CFC.
As for their past average attendances, well it's not a pretty sight. Most of those silver balloon waving dicks were not even a globule of semen in their father's ball bag when Chelsea had the running track around the old Stamford bridge.
I remember when there were often swathes of empty concrete terracing bereft of fans at the Bridge. It seemed there were more turquoise 3 wheeler disabled carriages in the stadium than fans at one televised game i saw.
In the 80s and 90s they were hardly 'The Pride Of London', far from being that!
In 86/87 they averaged 19,219 - (City -24,677)
87/88 - 20,221
89/90 - 23,118( City -34,658)
90/91- 20,939(City - 28,648)
91/92 - 18,779(City - 28,605)
92/93 - 18,754( City - 24,698)
94/95 - 21,062(City -
22,674)
95/96 - 25,598(City - 27,941)
Their crowds increased significantly after Ruud Gullit's side win the FA Cup in 97 to end their trophy drought. Gullit was sacked in early 88 to be replaced by Gianluca vialli who brought Chelsea success winning The UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup in 88 as well as the League Cup.
Roman Abramavic took over in 2003 and their next trophy was in 05.
But the point in all of this history lesson is that disrespectful cunts kike Chelsea dont know their own history nevermind ours, and they weren't always the club they are now, neither were we but we had our history too which wasn't too shabby, apart from the shabbiness of the Swales/Lee years of course.(trophy wise)
But we were there through thick and thin and starved of any kind of proper success. But we were there in higher numbers than Chelsea and their balloon waving buffoons!
