When Chelsea won their CL last season, they finished 4th in the PL, 19 points behind us. To qualify for that 2020/21 tournament they had to rely on Leicester bottling 4th place, finishing 33 points behind champions Liverpool and 15 behind us.
I thought it was great banter yesterday but give me the PL as the real test of a team's ability & consistency every time.

You don't come to the home of the Champions to gloat when you trail City by 10 points, are on a run of 4 wins in 11 league matches, and your manager is in open conflict with his centre-forward. No wonder they slunk home with their tails between their legs whilst super Tommy Tuchel spent most of his post-match time commenting on their lack of quality up front.
