Harry was almost in tears in his post match interview

I know two faced ****

It takes tears three weeks to get from his eyes to his chin...and in that time they travel 8 miles.

Re: Balotelli Stamp V Spurs

No stamp modric pushes him and knocks him off balance and throws himself to the floor very easily like he does. Blues accusing Balo of a stamp sort your head out.

Re: Balotelli Stamp V Spurs

Silly? Yes!! Reckless? Maybe! Banned retrospectivly? Yes. After Gary Neville's rant on TV about how he should be banned rectrospectivly. Neville Unbiased? Absoloutly Not!!

Clearly a stamp. Clearly a retrospective ban. But, this is the first game in I don't know how long where a decision has gone our way.

NOT Clearly a stamp. NOT Clearly a retrospective ban. But, this is the first game in I don't know how long where a decision has gone our way.

I agree with part of that.

If you were not being biased then you would agree with all of what I said.

lol, so anyone who disagrees with you is biased because you're the only one capable of being objective??? Full of yourself aren't you

If you apply the "Balotelli at Liverpool" rule then Parker should've walked today. Anything to say about King not getting a red for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity?

Dissappointed the mods can't see fit to change the thread title either.

Where's the .GIF again please?

By the way, slow motion looked much worse than live if I recall correctly.

If you showed every tackle in a match in slow motion there'd be a dozen retrospective bans!

Always looks worse in slo-mo.

Re: Balotelli Stamp V Spurs

I am a "so called city fan" for over 40 years but I saw that as a stamp, maybee not aiming for his head but certainly in his general direction,
Think back a few years & if Cantona had done exactly the same thing (which he did more or less a couple of times & got away with it) would you still think it was not a stamp?

Re: Balotelli Stamp V Spurs

Sky showed the incident close up.

Howard Webb saw the whole incident/passage of play. He pointed to it and the game continued.

Chuckle 1 and Sourness both said Webb saw the incident.

It all depends on what he puts in his match report.

Remember Rooney at Wigan. He got slaughtered after the game for the elbow, but got away with it. Looks as f Mario will do the same.

Redkapp is a c***.

Re: Balotelli Stamp V Spurs

I looked back over it again due to somebody making a comment, and indeed when seen from the right angle it doesn't appear obvious that he makes any contact with Parker at all. He knocks his head away with his knee and then plants his other foot in the turf next to Parker's head.

Not easy to show with a still, but it's far from definitive when seen in video.

Edit: Look at Modric, if he did make contact I can't help but think he would have made a lot more of it.

Re: Balotelli Stamp V Spurs

Having seen the incident on TV from the angle Webb would have seen it, it doesn't look as though it's a stamp. From the angle shown on the clip earlier in this thread, it looks a lot more dubious. If Webb claims to have not seen the incident, then it ought to be him serving a 4 match ban!
