i think you'll find it's a case of 'when it suits' , and this IS City we're talking about ...
that Liverpool player could have been given a retrospective ban two weeks ago for that two footed challenge in the Etihad cup semi , but it 'blew over' because apparently it wasn't in the refs report ........
contrast that with the late Shaun Wright Phillips tackle at Stoke two or three years ago , which the ref didn't see , or include in his match report ...... unfortunately someone from the FA did later on though , and Shaun then found himself serving a retrospective ban .. two games i think!
