Balotelli and Tevez

Why do people even pay Sabster attention? He never has anything positive to say and if he is a city fan then i am Cleopatra VII.

I do have positive things to say, its just that I hate the way, people overate players that play for their own clubs.

he's a starter in one of the most talented argentina teams of all time - you don't need blue tinted specs to say that tevez is more than 'workrate'

every team needs a mixture of flair and muscle, and tevez is one of the few who has both. his skill is frequently overlooked because of his workrate.

I wouldn't swap Tevez for anyone. Literally, anyone - not Messi, not Torres, not Villa nor Ibrahimovic.

However, if he leaves, I think we would have to assume that it would be at his own request (or Kia's, but that's another matter). I mean, seriously - with our money, why in the world would we sell Carlos Tevez?

Not really sure how much he loves us at the minute. There was the double-sessions episode, and he might have been disappointed that we're another full season off CL football... So, though it's an unhappy thought, I wouldn't be unbelievably astounded if he wanted to up sticks.

Actually, I do, just as much as the Premier League.

Tevez has never really put a performance in in the big games? Like the Derby, where he scored? Or the Villa game, where he scored? Or the Chelsea game, where he scored (twice)? Or the Spurs game, where he was one of the best players on the pitch?
You mean those type of big games?

Balotelli has neither the talent, nor the attitude to ever survive outside of Italy. Every single time somebody in Italy shows any sort of talent, the Italians blow it out of all proportion, just like they did with Pato, and just as they are doing with Balo.

Oh well, I'm off to watch Tevez play in the World Cup now. Italy are on later, I suppose I'll be seeing Balo then? Or is he behind Gilardino, Pazzini, Quagliarella, Rossi, Borriello and Iaquinta? I suppose they are all top class players, who would be in front of Tevez if they were Argentinian.

lippi's choice are right like the capello's one.

or , maybe , do you think green is better than hart or SWP than AJ ?

Hart and AJ were in contention. Balo is the seventh choice striker for Italy now. Try comparing Green to Scott Carson and you're more along the right lines.

Yh... I am because I don't think tevez is the best striker in the world..

No you are because, you think it's hilarious, to pretend to be blue, behind your computer screen, as you know deep down there will be no merryment generated in stretford for a long time. Now run along back to rag kaff and tell them that you wound us up. (tried)

Go on sabby, get copy and pasting them posts!

Agree. If hes not a rag he is a cock. Just thinks Ibra is the best thing since sliced bread no one is allowed to say anything about his boyfriend or he goes off on one.

For us Tevez cannot be replaced, only player like him and as good in that roll in the prem is Roonpig.

If we were stupid enough to sell him we would have no chance of making top 4 next season, regardless of who we manage to sign, for that reason I cant see any chance of it happening.

I think you'll find if we signed Aguero and Ibrahimovic we'd end up top four even without Tevez. I agree with Sabster to a certain extent. We way overvalue our own players. Kinkaldze was as good as Maradona in some eyes. Consequently when we have a player as good as Carlos we get a bit giddy.

Lets' put it this way, forgetting that he was playing for Utd at the time, would you have preferred we signed Tevez, Kaka or Eto'o this time last year.

If you say Tevez then you are lying. 12 months ago we tried for two of the top players in world football. They turned us down. We got Carlos and Ade instead. Carlos has had his best ever season and we can now talk about him in the same breath as the previous two.

But noone is irreplaceable now.

Tevez isn't the best striker in the world, but he's five times the player of Balo.

These are the comments I object to... As shown by the stats, which everyone has conveniently ignored. They play at about the same level.

-- Mon Jun 14, 2010 3:18 pm --

Again another ridiculous comment. First four game of the season we won without tevez. We can sign better or strikers at least on the same level as tevez.

I have never said that about Ibra. I just refuse to accept the idiotic comments of ignorant englishment "HE I$ LAZY!!!!!!" And comments like that.
