People are suggesting over and over again that no-one in football would want him.if he became available.

Ballon d'Or shows that people in the football world do rate his ability so the chances are there would be clubs interested.

When i say no fucker wants him, it wont be for silly money
We will take a hit on him thats for sure.
He's a liability.

Cause people nominate players for Ballon d'Or awards because they think they're liabilities?

Just might be that others rightly or wrongly rate him higher than you do.

And if and when the time comes that he's sold it won't be your opinion of him that determines the price clubs are willing to pay.

I understand what your saying, but with the exception of the Liverpool sending off, Mario missed 10 games deservedly.

That's a lot of games to miss, when you've invested heavily in the player.

Im not going to argue this any more I agree with a rule that stops lower league players getting screwed over it has to be all encompassing so that's all there is to it

What if a lower league player stamped on someone, and got sent off deservedly 2/3 in a season and missed a third of the season due to his own actions?

then he would be fined for the cards and if he had shown any dissent during the sending off, fined for that

the rules for missing games after cards are made by the governing bodies....as a player you cannot neccessarily garauntee that you will get a card or not for tackles or challenges....you are entirely at the discretion of the referee.

and whilst i understand and sympathise that marios actions sometimes gave the referee no option but to issue card(s) and with it the associated match ban.....in marios and the unions eyes, it could be argued that this was entirely out of the players hands as there is not enough consistency with refreeeing decisions

Then im sure his club wouldn't come back 7 months later and try and fine him for it unless they had a point to prove

And that point would be that they had one of their players unavailable for selection, due to the player's actions (nobody else)

They lost out on performances from the player, and hence their investment (like we did with Mario)

I feel that that warrants a punishment/fine.

It's my opinion, I know those aren't the set rules, I just don't agree with them

Again, I fully understand what people are saying.

I personally just don't agree with the rules.

He didn't miss any games for totting up of cards?

He was being fined for missing 11 games through the Liverpool and Arsenal red cards and his stamp on Parker

but thats against his unions rules, he had already been fined by the club for the cards

He wanted to take our club to a tribunal
