Babies learn from a young age to cry to get attention. Toddlers learn from a young age to get their way, to play off one parent against another, or run crying to gran & grandpa. Some toddlers go thru a phase called "the terrible twos", and stamp their feet yelling their first words "no no no".
Baba Balo is a 22 year old baby, still not out of the terrible twos, still yelling at coaches and match officials, still complaining that he gets unfair attention even when his own bad behaviour attract attention, still disrespecting the shirt and the badge and the fans.
This whole tribunal thing was a massive bluff of a temper tantrum by a spoilt brat, and he saw the light at the last minute when the club called his bluff. Balo is very poorly advised. He knows he stands absolutely no chance of getting a January move to a big club if he took his case to the FA & lost, and he knows he stands little chance of getting a January move anywhere unless he starts to deliver on the pitch and stay out of the media.
