There's a difference between slagging off and criticising.

Well you'll have to define slagging off for me then. I'd say there isn't generally much difference. When people are slagging someone off they are usually criticising them for something. Unless you see slagging someone off as merely name calling. But then even if you call someone something as basic as a fat **** then I'd say that is both slagging off and criticising them.

Don't need to look too far for pathetic insults - just clicked a few random pages on the Balo threads and found:

I hope you lose that bet. He had no need to start, nor does he deserve to. Tevez and Aguero playing with Silva and Nasri have proven to be a far better option than when Balotelli plays. Unless it's injury-forced, Balotelli shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11 on Saturday.
