Balotelli (continued)

Him getting sent off against Arsenal won us the league last year in my opinion.

In the two recent games he's been invloved in weve drawn and lost - it's no coincidence we play better and look more of a 'team' without him being around the squad.

Also people going on about his age etc... Nastasic is only 19 and you can't fault his attitude or temperament.

Balotelli needs to go IMO!! But 1 - who wants him and 2 - who can afford the fee and his wage demands?

I'm glad he's making a stand against the fine. He has the right to and the facility is available.
There is no way the FA will overturn it though. To do so would mean admitting that he doesn't get fair treatment from the referees. It's very clear that he doesn't and a decent team of analysts could easily show the inconsistencies. But the FA have been embarrassed too often and will not allow any more bad press against the refs.

The club has to make a business and political decision about his future with the club and I would guess if someone makes a reasonable bid he will be sold. For all the wrong reasons.
Was the sending off at Arsenal unfair from the ref?

Was the retrospective ban for his stamp on Parker unfair?

If not, then he's acting the **** appealing this fine

You need to quote every card if you want to make a case.

Maybe he knows his days could be numbered and thinks f*ck it I've nothing to lose.

Or maybe he knows that as long as his pal is in charge he can do what the fuck he likes, play as badly as he likes and the patience with him will be limitless.

The 2nd Booking against Liverpool total joke
Booking against Chelsea for diving another total joke

Not defending him but it is easy enough to pick certain ones out and others were just pathetic.

Can you imagine if Balotelli had done what Fellani did probably be a 20 match ban.

Well, he didn't miss a single game due to 5/10 yellows.

He was sent off against Liverpool, in which the second yellow was harsh. That resulted in a one game suspension, he missed a total of 11...

The Arsenal and Spurs incidents are entirely his fault

The booking against Chelsea was this season, also it didn't result in him missing a game so it's void for two reasons.

Why did he get fined if he was being protected by "his pal"?

So there are inconsistencies which led to him being unavailable for selection then.

It's been the story of his career so far.

He's only 18......he's still young and will grow up.
He's only 19......he's still young and will grow up.
He's only 20......he's still young and will grow up.
He's only 21......he's still young and will grow up.
He's only 22......he's still young and will grow up.

They'll still be saying this about him when he's 25, and then the penny will finally drop.

he needs someone who can improve him as a footballer, i don't think mancini is that man. he's still young and will need a lot of PATIENCE. its sad because hes got the chance to play with all these players at city [yaya silva tevez agero] and he acts like he doesn't care. shame.

If someone is going to improve as anything, let alone a top class footballer, a substantial part of the input has to come from the person themselves. Mourinho couldn't do it for Mario, it seems a good few think Mancini can't do it. Not many left! There's 'Arry, of course, Magical 'Arry, as opposed to Comical Ali but are we gonna dump him on QPR?

Mario is one of those footballers for whom the word 'mercurial' was invented. But 'mercurial' doesn't do 'consistent' and even though 'mercurial' can score yer goals, how many 'mercurial' moments has Mario had that were instrumental in garnering three points for us, just as the team we were under the cosh? How many 'smash 'n grab' points did he get us last season?

Can't see him doin' the donkey work that'd put him at the top of the pile.

The frustrating thing is he can be instrumental in influencing the outcome of games. His goal against Wigan was a bit of old fashioned centre forward bustle and muscle, very sharply taken, and then of course there was his endeavour in prodding the ball through to Sergio for the title clincher, so re-writing the club's history. So he can do it.

Your own quote about the Liverpool 2nd booking. You just proved the point.

All right then, when your £20m striker misses 10 games due to his own foolish and stupid actions a two week fine is the least he could be punished.

If you argue that, then sorry you can jog on.

Also, is Mario the only player to have received a harsh yellow card? If not, then surely you can argue ALL players are treated unfairly by officials

I'm not arguing that because that isn't the case.

Yes all players are inconstantly refereed and it is to the advantage of some (insert your own choice here) and disadvantage of others. The only way to stop it is to highlight it again and again and again.

If any Club comes in with a significant bid then he must be sold. The problem is that I'm not sure who would take a risk on him.
