Balotelli (continued)

What's wrong with a bollocking if you don't do the job properly? I'm not surprised Mancini seems ready to tear his hair out sometimes - there can be fewer jobs more frustrating this season than watching City's attackers.

I half expected that Balo would have got a start at the Emirates, but, after what he did in his 5 minutes - losing the ball 3 times - it still looks like he's no better than Dzeko.

And then, there's the hair - surprised he didn't get a yellow card for that as soon as he crossed the touchline.

Camouflage car, but stand out hair; I wonder what the message truly is? (Apart from 'I don't give a ****')

Talented player, but plays absolute shite 9 times out of 10. Therapy (or transfer) needed.

5 minute playing time when the team had switched into defense mode, is hardly fair to judge anybody on the night

I wasn't really judging him on that 1 performance - commenting more on the criticism of Mancini for having a go at the wasters up front who still can't trap/control a football, for reasons I find very hard to fathom. But, it's fair to say that just when we needed Mario to control and shield the ball, and maybe even hold it for a few seconds, he lost it 3 times - thus ensuring that we stayed in defensive mode!

-- Mon Jan 14, 2013 5:10 pm --

Top supporting my arse - its an internet forum. Someone has commented on why Mancini was going off his head, and I've explained why. Maybe there's something you disagree with, so enlighten me, please.

Where are we at in this debate about Mario ?,is he good, bad, going, staying,a cnut etc ?

We''re at a bit of an impasse.

Those that are on his side, think the ones that arent have read to much bollox in the paper and take it in like my gran use to take in washing thus tainting their judgement

And the ones against think those that are for are all fanboys and love him for his haircut and his celebrity

He's on the brink!

I disagree with the notion that you have the first idea what's going on in Mancini's head.
I also doubt you have a clue what Mario's motives are with hair and car colour (like it matters)

I can only think of two matches in which he has been a major benefit and not a complete liability.

FA cup Final, and the 6-1.

That's a lot of fucking money for two results, results which could have come from someone a lot more consistent.

I think Mancini being his mentor/manager was the worst possible scenario for his development. Having no real consequences and a situation of tens of millions of dollars in compensation just reinforces his behavior. The twat needs to play under a manager that is willing to kick his fucking head in, or make sure its a choice between growing up or ending his young career.
