Balotelli, Dzeko, Tevez

A dream scenario for me would see dzeko going and van persie signing. I appreciate what dzeko has contributed but it just hasn't worked out and I really think van perise would push us another level. However apart from van persie and maybe falcoa there is no one I would definitely say ia better than dzeko or what we've already got, higuin maybe, I don't really see cavanni fitting in well us.

I like Dzeko, but if the rumours are right, then farewell. I think Falcao would be a better fit to our system than RVP. Falcao signing could also spell the end for Tevez, if we find a suitor.

Apperently Dzeko is going to sign with Bayern M.

It's all over in the german news

Be stuneed if we let him go without at least looking at another striker and Bayern will offer a 20 Million max

If he does move it can only be later in the window

Unless we have already agreed his replacement..

Wishful thinking

We courted Hazard for 18 months apparantly and he changed his mind inside 2 weeks nothing is certain until the player has signed

Lots of people talking about RvP - if we had made any enquiries no matter how tentative and discreet it would be all over the news - City wont do fook all until he says he wants out and like Nasri it could go eight to the wire

Wasn't thinking of RVP....Cavani ?

Maybe, think Cavani is excellent but what indication / information do you have that indicates we are close to signing him - from what i can see the only player we have chased is Hazard - in al past transfers i am pretty certain we got players in first before we started punting those whom wanted out or Bobby thought were not good enough

I am German and the stuff that is "all over the German news" is hearsay and speculation very much like the tabloids in any other country spread.

Agree there is a single reports saying Dzeko has agreed personal terms but this must be bollocks and there are a few reports that Bayern are considering a bid

For me i think he will go if we can get another striker in and i think had Hazard come he may also have gone but dont see it until City have done whatever transfer business they are going to do

I'd be very surprised if we were to sell Dzeko for as little as £20m.

Next thing we'll have Rummenige crying about how nasty Man City won't agree to bend over and let him move to Bayern for next to nothing.

I don't think we will look to sell any of the major players. However if an offer arrives for Dzeko or A.J i can see us seriously looking at it. If we could get £30million+ for these two that would have massive implications for FFP. I think we will look to sell Kolo and the rest of the lonee brigade!

Dzeko's value hasnt dropped by 25% in my opinion. He is no worse a player and really has proven he can score a good number of goals in a better league despite his performances being hit and miss

However I wonder if that £20m is basically a break even figure on the books with his value spread over the length of his contract so it could be seen as a more attractive offer to us?

I would sell Tevez after what he did to City this season. But possible no buyer will come for him for good price. I cant trust him or KIA the snake.
(Milan has no cash simply, seen many Milan fans talking about how could they milk City, they give us Ibra, and City gives them Kolarov, Dzeko and Money too for Ibra alone or Tevez+Kolarov+money!!!
(PSG easily can go for another target, they have money. Who else could/would buy Tevez on huges wages?)

Another big question is rotation. Mancini had an easier job in rotation with Dzeko, Balotelli, Agüero in biggest part of the season. Still Dzeko/Balotelli was benched a lot. How much more would they sit on bench when Tevez starts every match when he is fit?

Dzeko started 16 matches in the league. It could go down to 5-10 starts. Also Balotellis playing time could be halved. Balotelli played about 1100 minutes this year. Most of this when Tevez was not around.

The situation would be exactly the same if we sell Tevez but get RVP.
Selling Dzeko getting in RVP even worse. One of Agüero/Tevez/RVP wouldnt even start half of the league matches. And all on 200k wage or even more.

Keeping 4 strikers happy is very hard. We didnt have to deal with this because Tevez mastered his golf skills for very long time.

Chelsea had problems with two main strikers, United benched Berbatov awful lot.
