i see Balotelli making a mass of goals next season and he did made the match is day.but i am not taking anything away from De Jong,he played well enough to get a recognition.Balotelli deserve the MOM and he created scoring opportunities for Tevez and Silva but they failed to score.the last byline he made that sublime skills to go pass the stoke defender was killer and even give Silva the node to score and again failed.

i am not being negative here... but having seen the balotelli of inter and italy u 21 a lot,this is only his normal level of performance... he has 2 or 3 more gears up and when he hits it,its like he is the best player in the world... i really feel sad that he had to counter with that injury so early in the season... else, we could have been challenging for the title...

completely agree. this is normal balotelli. when he shifts up, which hasnt happened yet in premier league, he will show everyone why he is considered one of the top talents in the world. saw him in italy and he can be dominating

Aye, I said a week or so back that Balo has never played to his own standards yet in a City shirt. Yesterday was his first time. That's a "normal Balotelli performance"; wait to you guys see a "good Balotelli performance" or even a great one; at times, he's absolutely unplayable.
