Balotelli or Guidetti

I agree where is this talent in balotelli people talk of? Total waste of time and money!
Guidetti getting three hattricks in 4 games one of which against ajax is more than mario can ever dream of!

Sorry, but the bloke has scored 30 goals for us. Fine if you prefer others to him, fine if you're disappointed with him but anyone suggests that he has shown nothing, or given us nothing is talking shite.

I don't think anyone would say he has shown nothing moomba, we just do not see enough of it by a long long way.
Especially not enough to justify keeping hungry players out + his baggage and discipline issues for 130k a week or whatever he is on.

Anyone saying he brought nothing are just venting i would say.

Balotelli is obviously the better player but I would be happy to see the back of him, pisses me off when we have someone like Zabaleta running his socks off and putting his body on the line then we have Balotelli who generally doesn't give that much of a fuck whether we win or lose. Guidetti would be more than prepared to graft if it meant he got to play so lets give him a chance when he's fit.

The problem is can we afford to accomodate four top class strikers in a squad that isnt in Europe for the second half of the season when one of them is under achieving badly.
Nobody is disputing that Mario has talent thats not the issue. Its more whether we can afford for him to continue being Mario and the effect that has on the suad as a whole.
It also looks like after a lot of patience, our manager has finally given up on him and I for one dont blame him.
Taking all that into account, as long as one of the other three doesnt get injured before January and assuming we can get a remotely acceptable deal for Mario, then I would let him go and take a risk with Guidetti. The fact is we aint getting much out of Mario at the minute anyway (apart from penalties and Guidetti can do that) so I dont see a problem. Changes in are needed elswhere.

£24million/£100k+-per-week fourth choice strikers are a pointless luxury and just causes imbalance in the squad due to the necessity to switch them so much. Someone please name me another squad on earth with a fourth choice striker who cost as much and earns as much as Mario. Those sort of resources should go towards another position. Anyway, Mario is finished at the club now as Gordon Taylor has confirmed he is taking the club to a tribunal this Wednesday. The owners and new men in charge won't tolerate a public dispute when they want the club image as pristine as possible.

Name me another club that has a £22m fourth choice centre half, or a £17m second choice left back. You're not going to find comparisons between other clubs and ours and whether it's Mario or someone else the argument that we can't afford to hold onto four expensive strikers is flawed IMO.
