Haha don't get me wrong I've no doubt he wound me up towards the end but i still remember his curler against Everton (probably a deflection) when we won the league, his opening goal in the 6-1, winding Ferdinand up in the semi, 94th minute penalty against Tottenham (when he should probably have already been sent off), running to hug Mancini.

He's not a man I'd want to build a team around or want to have to rely on ( I was frustrated as hell by some of his half arsed performances) ,but I'll still always have fond memories of him. Although that being said I probably just find it easier to remember the good than the bad. No doubt if instead of passing to aguero against QPR he'd have blasted it into the stands my overall perception would be different.

The only people in that club with premier league medals got them here. We've basically injected some class and winning mentality in that club while getting their best player in return. Fair deal

There's a big difference in slating his performances on the pitch, his attitude in training and his off field antics to giving him racist abuse for supporting an old team mate. The people who were knocking Mario on here are definitely City fans. If anyone needed a reality check it's those who support a player before the club. We see it with Dzeko fans and Mario fans. They are fans of the player first and foremost and part time City fans for as long as their favourite player is here.

I was responding to the post about balo getting support even at his worse when it's clear especially for his haters here that there were plenty of negative shit talked about him during days better than his worst when every little things get blown up out of proportion. Clearly his haters have an agenda against him and while the racist abuse gets rightfully called out, this kind of constant degrading of one of our own player is accepted.

And i don t buy the usual calling out of those defending our own players as only fans of those players or of certain nationalities. They can be both fans of the club and support the players. I'm not sure of others but i have defended balo, dzeko, yaya, kolarov, nasri, Jovetic etc from excessive and persistent haters simply because I can't stand all the constant abuse and criticism they are getting from our own fans. And after they all get sold, i will still be a City fan. I can take it from rival fans but it hurts more to see our own supporters being so vindictive towards our own. There is likes and dislikes but some take it too far.

Anyway, its almost 4 am in Australia and I'm not getting into another argument again after the shit fest couple days ago. So i think i will just leave it here

At times like this I hate social media. I don't think Mario was trying to get a rise out of people or speaking to the whole Liverpool fanbase but he would know Raheem has had some sickening rascist abuse and he knows about that. I think he was showing support against that. It was quite a sensible tweet I thought but you cannot speak to the trash online they are pigs. The replies to Mario are as disgusting as Sterling received tweeting about his father fgs. I find it unbelievable that people even think of some of the things they tweet.
